What makeup brands do you use?
Jassi caters to all skin types and tones. She uses all high-end makeup brands including vegan and cruelty free products. Brands include Nars, Tarte, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobby Brown, Mac, Laura Mercier, Huda Beauty, Prima Lashes, Tatti Lashes & many more.
Do I have to have a trial for weddings/events? Can my bridal party have a trial?
A trial isn’t a requirement however, Jassi does advise you to have a trial at least 4-6 months prior to your wedding or event to ensure you are 100% happy with the required look for the day. Jassi can do trials for the entire party and guests as well.
How far in advance should I book you in as my makeup artist?
It is never too early to start thinking about your Bridal Hair & Makeup. Jassi’s diary is open for 2026/27 now and bookings are filling up. Please enquire about your special day as soon as you can to avoid disappointment whether it is near or far.
How long does makeup and hair take on the Wedding/Event Day?
Depending on your chosen style/look, timings are below:
1 hour – Bride Hair OR Bride Makeup
45min – Bridesmaid Hair OR Bridesmaid Makeup
45min – Guest Hair OR Guest Makeup
1hr 30min – 2 Hours for a Hollywood Wave.
To achieve a lovely Hollywood wave, Jassi recommends that you have long hair below shoulder length and hair extensions are recommended, you will need 22-26 inch, 180-260g of clip-in 100% human hair extensions. This can be discussed further if this is your chosen style.
What do I need to bring for the event/wedding morning?
Jassi will advise either at the trial or via email to bring the following:
Lipstick/Lip Balm
Compact Translucent Powder
Wide Tooth Comb for styles down
Do you have a team of makeup artists to help with large bridal parties?
Jassi has a small team of professional makeup artists and hair stylists that she works closely with. This is quoted as an additional charge per artist for larger wedding parties and means Jassi can cater for everyone seeking hair and makeup. Jassi will arrange all the scheduling and payment of the makeup artists on your behalf, so this is stress-free for you.
Can you style with or add hair extensions? Do you provide hair extensions?
Jassi can style with hair extensions already in (micro-rings/tapes) as well as adding clip-in extensions into the required style, but Jassi does not supply them. Please make sure your extensions are purchased prior to a trial and are 100% human hair and already have the clips sewn in. Jassi recommends the following brands:

What should I do if I have skin allergies or sensitivities?
All brands that are used are hypo-allergenic, meaning it is tested on all skin types including sensitive skin with no irritation. If you are particularly worried about this then Jassi can use makeup products that you feel more comfortable with so please let her know in advance.
When do I have my make-up and hair trial?
Jassi would recommend having the bridal make-up and hair trial at least 3-6 months before your wedding day. If your wedding is less than 3 months away at the time of booking, Jassi will work to fit your trial in as soon as possible.
Do you offer facials before my wedding?

Do you charge a travel charge?
Travel is free up to a 15-mile radius, from Farnborough, Hampshire (GU14). Travel charges of 0.65p per mile will incur after that distance. This is quoted at the time of the booking.
Can you set my Wedding Outfit? (Tikka, Dupatta, Chunni, Sari?)
Jassi can set all wedding jewellery, tikka’s, dupatta/chunni and however Jassi does not drape Sari’s. Please ensure you provide thick safety pins.
Do you cater for large bridal parties? Can you ensure everyone will be ready on time?
Jassi can cater to large numbers for weddings or special events. If an additional artist/s is required to help, Jassi will book an artist/s from her hair and makeup team for you on your behalf. An additional charge will be quoted at the time of the booking.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, all products in Jassi’s kit are hypoallergenic.
Can you provide makeup and hair services for other members of the wedding party, such as bridesmaids and mothers of the bride/groom?
Yes Jassi can, please give as much information as you can when enquiring so your quote can be as accurate as possible.
Do you offer touch-up services throughout the event?
If this is requested, Jassi can quote a charge for a touch-up service depending on your requirements.
Do you offer a makeup/hair change for my wedding? e.g. from the civil ceremony to the reception?
Jassi is here to help you switch up your look in just one day—whether it’s for hair, makeup, or both! Just a heads up, there will be an additional charge that Jassi will share with you when you book.
Where do trials take place?
Trials take place at Jassi’s home studio in Farnborough, Hampshire. Jassi offers this Monday-Thursday 9-4pm. Weekend availability is usually not offered due to weddings taking place. Jassi will do her best to arrange a trial accordingly.
Do you have a minimum spend?
Yes, Jassi has a minimum spend between Friday-Sunday including bank holidays for non-bridal and bridal bookings. This is quoted at the time of the booking.
What skincare advice do you recommend?
Jassi has a prep guide document that she will send out at the time of the booking. She does recommend the following in the meantime:
Drink 2L of water
Eat a healthy balanced diet including plenty of antioxidants e.g. blueberries
Keep your skin hydrated.
