The treatment

Skin renewal, tailored to you

Epiderma5 AHA 40 is a 40% glycolic acid skin peel. It uses an alpha hydroxy acid to exfoliate the surface build-up of dead skin cells, helping to refresh the appearance of your skin. Your consultation gives Jassi the opportunity to discuss your skin, the results you hope for and whether a peel is suitable for you.

A course of up to six facial peels may be recommended for skin rejuvenation, though some concerns may need a longer programme. Peels are carried out every two to four weeks and each treatment can take up to 45 minutes.

Peels are available to bridal and non-bridal clients, and you must be 18 or over. Jassi holds an ABT-accredited qualification in Epiderma5 Skin Peel alongside VTCT Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas in Beauty Therapy. She has also completed specialist skin peel and LED light therapy training with Emma Coates Aesthetic Training.

Benefits

What a course actually does

01

Fades acne scarring

Peels target and soften acne scars by promoting cell turnover and bringing fresh skin to the surface.

02

Softens fine lines

By stimulating collagen production, peels smooth fine lines and wrinkles and improve elasticity and firmness.

03

Brightens the complexion

Exfoliating away dead cells and stimulating circulation leaves skin visibly brighter and more luminous.

04

Evens skin tone

Peels reduce hyperpigmentation, sun spots and discolouration for a more balanced tone overall.

05

Makes skincare work harder

Removing the outer layer of dead skin lets your products penetrate properly, so they actually do what you paid for.

06

Gives makeup a base

Clear, hydrated skin means foundation goes on smoother and lasts longer, without clinging to dry patches.

Optional add-on

LED light therapy, for your skin

LED light therapy can be added to your chemical peel appointment. Jassi uses the Project E Beauty LumaLux Dome, with different LED colours selected around your skin and the concerns you would like to focus on.

Red light may help improve the appearance of fine lines and skin texture, while blue light can be used to target blemish-prone skin. The setting and treatment plan are discussed at your consultation; results vary and a course of treatments may be needed.

This is an optional addition to your peel. Jassi will advise whether it is suitable for your skin and treatment plan.

LED add-on prices

10-minute LED treatment Added to your chemical peel £10
20-minute LED treatment Added to your chemical peel £20

The LED price is added to the cost of your chemical peel. Treatment duration and suitability are agreed at your consultation.

For brides

Why skin prep matters

Skin prep matters because it helps ensure your skin looks healthy, radiant and smooth on your wedding day. Clear, hydrated skin creates a flawless base, so makeup goes on smoother and lasts longer — and stops it caking, creasing or clinging to dry patches and blemishes.

Pre-wedding stress alone will trigger breakouts, dryness and flare-ups, particularly for sensitive or acne-prone skin. A course of peels helps keep the skin balanced and resilient enough to take it.

And knowing your skin is at its best is a large part of feeling relaxed and confident on the day itself.

Client experiences

In their own words

I had a course of 3 chemical peels with the LED add-on with Jassi and I can fully recommend them. My skin was glowing after each treatment and with the added bonus of the LED treatment is a great combo. Jassi is so kind and great at what she does. She gave me great advice to make sure I get the minimum down time after my peel. Would fully recommend a course in advance before a big event.
Hannah K
Jassi did a course of chemical peels and LED light therapy as I suffered with skin texture and breakouts. My skin felt much smoother and refreshed after each facial and the results after a few sessions were amazing! My skin texture has calmed down and I am prone to less (if to none) breakouts. I would highly recommend it!
