What Make-up brands do you use?
Jassi caters to all skin types and tones. She uses all high end make-up brands including vegan and cruelty free products. Brands include Nars, Mac, Makeup Forever, Charlotte Tilbury, Urban Decay and more.
How long does make-up and hair take?
Depending on your chosen style, make-up and hair can take anytime between 1hr 15 min-1hr 30 min. Make-up/hair can take up to 45min-1hr. Asian styles can take between 1hr-3hrs.
Do I have to have a trial for weddings/events? Can my bridal party have a trial?
A trial isn’t a requirement however, Jassi does advise you to have a trial at least 3 months prior to your wedding or event to ensure you are 100% happy with the required look for the day. Jassi can do trials for the entire party and guests.
What do I need to bring for the event/wedding morning?
Jassi will advise either at the trial or via email to bring a lipstick to top up during the day/event. She would also advise you to bring a compact translucent blot powder to use throughout the day to avoid too much shine for professional photos.
Can you set my Tikka, Depatta/Chuni, Sari/Lehenga?
Jassi can set all of these required for your overall look. Please ensure you are in your blouse top/outfit as well as your jewellery prior to Jassi’s arrival. She provides a protective cape to put over any clothing. Please ensure you provide thick safety pins.
Do you cater for large bridal parties? Can you ensure everytone will be ready on time?
Jassi caters to large numbers for weddings or special events. She will create a schedule for the morning to ensure you are all ready for the required time. If an assistant is required to help, she will organise this for you on your behalf.
Is there an additional charge for an assistant and travel?
If an extra make-up artist is required for larger bridal parties, an additional charge will be made dependent on requirements. Travel will be charged on the day of the trial and wedding day. A price will be provided prior to the event. Travel is free up to a 15 mile radius from Fleet, Hampshire (GU51 1LE). A travel charge of 0.48p per mile will be incurred after that distance.
Do you travel and what areas do you cover?
Jassi covers Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Greater London, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Other locations can be covered, but will include a higher travel charge due to mileage.
Can you style with/add hair extensions?
Jassi can style with hair extensions already in (micro-rings) as well as adding extensions into the style. Please make sure your extensions are 100% human hair and already have the clips sewn in. If you need further advice then please contact her directly with any questions.
Do I need extensions for a Hollywood wave style?
Jassi recommends that you have 22-24 inch, 100% human hair extensions to achieve this beautiful style if your own hair isn’t long enough.
